Diana Russinova is an experienced leader, expert, and innovator in transport risk management and prevention of traffic accident injuries and fatalities. Dedicated to saving human lives, she is driven in providing best practices and finding new approaches that will ultimately lead to the reduction in traffic accident fatalities to zero in Bulgaria and Europe. As a Founder and Chairwoman of the European Center for Transport Policies, her goals include targeted road safety inspections, using a scientific approach in determining the causes behind traffic accident fatalities, providing independent investigations and road safety assessments. In addition to her primary career tasks, Mrs. Russinova has been recognized by European and Bulgarian Government Public Officials for her extraordinary commitment to finding new methods to further improve the safety and efficiency of transportation infrastructure globally.
Diana Russinova's passion for road safety inspection and assessment can be traced back to the Agency of Transport Research and Prognosis ten years ago, where she spent ninety percent of her time administering all projects related to transport management and building a strong team. As an exceptional leader in transportation and road safety issues, she specializes in carrying out series of independent investigations for the most severe traffic accidents fatalities, utilizing multiple prolonged approaches to identifying the reasons beyond road conditions and driver behavior.
Mrs. Russinova has worked in the road safety infrastructure and transport management industry for over ten years, gaining invaluable experience in collecting data, analysis, and combining a variety of systems to provide the most accurate assessment on road safety. As a seasoned independent expert, she is passionate about advancing the methods for assessments of the road infrastructure and developing best practices aimed at ending fatalities. In addition to her leadership and expertise, she is also the author of a numerous publications, interviews, articles and opinions referring to road safety issues. Outside of the office, Diana Russinova enjoys cooking for her family and taking photographs of the nature.
