Having born in Uganda and specifically in the western part of the country, a land of hills and valleys gave the courage to love tourism after encountering whites travelling around our communities through their journeys. This real pushed me to obtain a Bachelors in Tourism, 3 levels of IATA in aviation and GDS (Global Distribution System) that helped me to achieve a lot in the industry while working with Rwandair and CWT before I embarked on the Starting Route Wild safaris
WHERE I HAVE TRAVELLED
I have travelled around Uganda Rwanda and Kenya for a number of times with a group of friend that too loved adventuring. Needless to say, that was the time I realized that being on a “safari " was one incredible experience to have in life: I have loved visiting the African wilderness ever since. And now i have a privilege to share East African experience, safaris and destinations with you.
MY TRAVEL MOMENTS
Being on a journey in East Africa is so often to have remarkable moments that you will always remember in your lifetime. Most travelers or tourists come to Africa keen to experience the iconic safari moments such as Gorilla and chimpanzees trekking, Wildebeest migration, cultural heritages, hiking and more close-up sightings of the Big 5, but Africa has such natural diversity that you are just as likely to long remember the baboon or monkey that raided your meal or drink, the broad honest smile of a Maasai tribesman or an elephant confronting your safari vehicle. To the most memories are of the “feel” of a destination rather than a specific sighting.
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT TRAVEL
The feeling of getting away from my usual comfort, and getting to the real life of adventuring and discovering. And of course the astonishing ways of participating in local communities.
