π° I am an Associate Professor of Finance at IESEG School of Management in France and a Research Fellow at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).
π· I do data-driven applied research in the field of High-Frequency Data Analysis, High-Dimensional Models, Financial Econometrics, Continuous-Time Volatility Modeling, Extreme (Tail) Risk Measurement and Financial Networks.
π΄ I teach BA/MA-level courses on topics such as Money and Capital Markets, Investment Valuation, Econometrics for Risk and Asset Managers, Applied Machine Learning and International Finance.

π¨π»βπ I received my PhD in Economics from University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium.
π¨π»βπ Going back in time, prior to my PhD studies, I was an MA student and Fulbright Scholar at the State University of New York, Binghamton. I got my MA degree from Bogazici University and BA from Kadir Has University, Istanbul.
π¨ During my academic career so far, I held visiting research positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Maastricht University and Columbia University, New York.
