David Gallegos’ acting career began when he joined the critically acclaimed theatre company, Ground Up & Rising while he was a college theatre-arts major. He participated in hard-hitting productions such as The Pillowman, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel, and many others. David was also part of Miami’s Shakespeare in the Park, where he performed and choreographed fight scenes for Othello, Romeo & Juliet, and Macbeth. Since then, David has appeared in many film, television, and digital productions.

In 2012, David starred alongside Brooke Hogan, Carmen Electra, and Charlie O'Connell in Syfy Shark Week favorite, 2-Headed Shark Attack. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2015, David has appeared in national commercials for Toyota and AT&T and has acted in various projects for major digital media companies like BuzzFeed, We Are Mitu and, College Humor. In 2018, Off The Rails, an independent feature film in which David played one of the lead roles, won Best Picture at the Liverpool Film Festival.
