Darkstarr is a hip-hop rock performer out of Oakland California. Originally from NYC Darkstarr started playing rhythm and lead guitar at house parties on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with the Hot Pink Azaleas, a band formed by him and friends. After disbanding, Allen McNatt got involved with an organization called Road Recovery. There Darkstarr got his start playing out at live venues. I’ve played with Slash from Guns and Roses and other legendary rock artists. After the leaving the organization I moved to Asheville NC. Where I played with two bands, New Thread and Ghost Diver. There I played at the Odditorium, The Orange Peel, Tressa’s and many others.
