Bio

I teach people to think better—critically, creatively, and collaboratively.

In a career in the Air Force as a fighter pilot and military diplomat, I worked on some really tough problems. These were problems we couldn’t solve with money or with brute force. We had to think better.

I combined my experience leading teams to solve problems better with the psychology and neuroscience of thinking. Now I have very practical advice for people who want more critical thinking, creativity, and more trusting collaboration for themselves and their team.

I also wrote a book...Thinking Better...I’ll always trade a copy for a conversation.

I live near Birmingham, Alabama now where I am the Lead Instructor for #HumanIntelligence.

I enjoy photography, writing, cooking, and woodworking...and my 2 dogs.
