Hello
Am Daniel braxton from Rusinga island, Kenya a climate activist and strategist, permaculture and syntropic agroforestry practicioner, trainer as well as a consultant. Creating sustainable development in the community targeting food security, climate change as well as fostering peace both with nature and with human is all I do here and this are the reasons why I came up with a Lake Victoria peace and sustainability center, a registered CBO by the registrar of Social Development.
We advocate for Permaculture and Syntropic agroforestry in various communities as we offer trainings/workshops as well as creating food forests in schools, hospitals, churches, children's homes etc. This helps ensure that the community get have fresh organic food to take.
In terms of climate change, we started an initiative known as "A Million Tree Campaign In kenya" where we have a target of planting 1 million trees and above targeting schools, hospitals, churches, market as well as considering the natural ecosystems:hills, forest etc.
Implementing the basic permaculture ethics (Care for the people, care for the planet and fareshare) has been our great concern. This has enable us foster peace resolution methods through NVC.
