I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35, four days after winning employee of the year for setting up a relaxation room to combat some of the psychological effects of a stroke.
Unfortunately, from my diagnosis I had to have a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.
I was also nominated for innovator of the year 2018 and Life after stroke for Professional excellence 2018.
From meeting with the breast surgeon I told him that I was going to write my story once my treatment had finished and I did exactly that.
Looking for new opportunities.
