My mainĀ working career has been dedicated toĀ theĀ business of golf.Ā AcrossĀ sixteenĀ years of experience,Ā my journey has included roles at all levels of operations, sales and management at venues and management companies includingĀ Target Golf Management,Ā Synergy Golf Management, My Golf Group,Ā MoyvalleyĀ Golf Club, New Forrest Golf Club,Ā Citywest Hotel & Golf Resort, and theĀ SpawellĀ Golf Centre.Ā Ā Ā
In 2017 I joined theĀ Confederation of Golf in Ireland (Golf Ireland) where I provided business consultancy and training to club owners,Ā staffĀ and officials acrossĀ Ireland.Ā During my time with the CGI,Ā I createdĀ numerous resources toĀ guideĀ clubs in proven business improvement practices most notablyĀ the Golf ClubĀ MembershipĀ Development Hub and Club Business Planning Guide.Ā
Iām a keen student of the business of golf and completedĀ a Bachelor of Business Studies at UCDĀ in 2018Ā and a Diploma in Club Management from CMAE to compliment my industry experience.Ā
In Nov 2019 I returned to My Golf Group to establish and lead the Club Consultancy Services. I am responsible for overseeing company operations, working daily across a portfolio of private and public sector clients toĀ develop business-critical areasĀ including;Ā sales and marketing growth, membership development, operations, change management and strategic planning.Ā I am also responsible for researching and sharing best practices with clubs.
