The Mayor of Southern Soul/Zedrick Johnson Bio:
I am a central Louisiana born and raised native from Pineville, La. I was introduced to music as a young kid growing up in the Baptist church with high morals and family values. I played sports in high school and was very active in my community. After I graduated high school I attended college and from there I began a career in Law Enforcement from 1995-2012 until I retired with a injury that ended my career.
In 1995 while being employed in law enforcement I found myself doing security at several clubs and concert venues. I became interested in music then under the mentorship of a Sylvester Woods aka Dj Slick Syl under his leadership I used to pack speakers and organize his vinyl records in crates. That was when I started to played around with music on and off. In the year of 2012 I began to get serious and that is when I came up with the name TheMayorOfSouthernSoul. I started doing house parties and playing in clubs for the old school blues, southern soul, zydeco and Grown folks music. I was contacted by Dj Ervin Willis and Dj George Oliver  from Bounceoutradio.com career started TheMayorOfSouthernSoul DaMayors Office began. I then started to meet artists and gain repor to all in the southern soul and zydeco genre. In 2014 i was one of the founders of Realmuzic.net and the list of multiple contacts begun.
