NYC/ATL
Daimen Carter, a singer/songwriter from Rome, GA. Daimen made his musical debut with his critically acclaimed record "We're OK". Fresh out of highschool Daimen turned his dreams of being a music professional into a reality with a chance encounter with the program director at Atlanta's WVEE(The top Hip Hop Station). With a budget of fewer than 300 dollars, Daimen dug deep into his creativity and created an Atlanta cult classic record. The record went on to hold steady rotation for 2 straight years bringing Daimens specialty vocals into the forefront of the Atlanta commercial top 40 scene. Stepping into 2019 Daimen connected with NYC Based production team of Michael DeBarge & Chey de Los. While the trio started production on Daimen's debut album, his next single "Chasin" was born. Daimen again followed his instinct and created a Halloween themed single "Chasin" which went on to charting in the Mediabase Top 200. 2020 nearly halted all of Daimens progress, the climate of America's racism & the wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Rather than slowing down Daimen made the jump to Associate Producer for Chey de Los single "Stand Up!", where Daimen took the role of music video coordinator & Co-director. The single "Stand Up!" features JD Wesley, David Ruffin Jr., Toox & Natalis “ what I look for in a track of this nature, the couldn’t have done a better job at getting the right point across here.” Daimen's behind the scenes work evolved as 2020 progressed as he transitioned into radio promotion as a way to keep busy during the pandemic... he went on to work the campaign of Poppy Colon's "Bad Girl" which went on to hit 2 Mediabase Top 200 charts (peaking at #180 in Rhythm and #142 on Urban.)
