안대혁 박사는 문자 코드 전문가로 1991년부터 KS, ISO, Unicode의 한글코드 체계를 만들어 표준화하고, 윈도우즈에서 조합형 및 옛한글 입출력을 구현하였다. Doctor Ahn developed and implemented Korean Hangul character set in KS, ISO, Unicode standards since 1991. Also implemented old Hangul on Windows.
