In 2006, l started Cynthia Foreman’s Sweetie Pies (“He got the grill but l kept the oven”) in a commercial kitchen Oakland, CA. Providing both Personal & Corporate Gift Giving services with miniature 2’ Sweet Potato & Pecan Pies. Afterwards, l was able to place my pies in retail convenience & grocery outlets.
•First major local retailer was 15 Walgreens stores in the Bay Area included Berkeley Bowl in Emeryville, CA. Placement was at the cash register, bakery department & frozen baked products area.
•In 2010, Cynthia Foreman’s Signature Products added 6 flavors of Shortbread Cookies (Lemon, Cranberry, Chocolate Chip, Orange, Plain, Banana Nut ).
*Shortly afterwards in 2013 the opportunity came to go into 3800 Walgreens Stores nationwide.
•In 2015, l created sampling’s of Sweet Potato cornbread as well as mixes that included pancake & gluten free mixes.

•In 2000, l wrote & performed w/an ensemble in “Bruised but Not Broken” in Houston, Texas.
•March 2002- 2005 performed in my one woman performance at the Black Box Theatre in Oakland, CA. (Universities & Colleges). This included fundraisers for women shelters for domestic violence & prestigious organizations like the Links & other women groups.
•The National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem, NC.
