Bio

I have over 23 years of marketing experience and have been editing films, coordinating concerts, festivals, branding for companies such as Clodhoppers Candy, Burger King, Pita Pit, branding & production for music artists & deejays, script writing along with developing graphic designs for the past 15 years as a freelance designer. I have an educational background in Digital Multimedia and Technology at Red River College majoring in video design. Worked on a TV series with Inferno Pictures for the Comedy Network the TV show that was called House Party. Created a national television show that I was the executive producer for called Urban Star that aired on all Shaw Media TV cable systems and direct satellite. I put together a cross Canada marketing campaign for the show, designed the branding. Most recently developing a new TV show called Yo Canada Raps & developing a new video game app called Happy Holidays Battle Season. In the last five years I have gained an immense amount of experience working as the cultural/event director for the City of Thompson.
To touch on my marketing experiences, it come from over two decade of event promotions & coordinating for concerts such as Shaggy, Shawn Desman, Danny Fernandes, Belly, Karl Wolf, Neverest, Eleven Past One, Crystal Shawanda, Choclair, Bishop Brigante, Ivana Santilli, JRDN, Maestro Fresh Wes plus much more. I have also coordinated events such as Thompson annual month long Winter Fest; Thompson’s annual Concert Series and the annual Canada Day celebration. I was also directed the events that corresponded with Manitoba homecoming 2010 in Thompson; coordinated Manitoba Indigenous Games 2006 entertainment. As a hobby I enjoy story building for program pitches to Spike TV, Global, YTV, CTV and Ubisoft to name a few. My work in editing and design has provided me with extensive experience leveraging tools such as HD Cameras, editing with Final Cut Pro, and designing with After effects and Photoshop.
