I believe our only true hope is in the good news that God has intervened in our world. Jesus promises life and light to all who simply trust Him:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His unique Son, so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
"I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness" (John 12:46).
