Prior to entering the cannabis space I had a 15 year career as a content creator in LA producing music videos, commercials, a couple of feature films and branded content for some of the largest consumer facing brands in the world, including: Google, Apple, Disney, YouTube, Bose, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Tylenol, the NFL, Activision and many more. 📺 📡

Since leaving the traditional production and advertising world, I've been grateful to be able to use the skills I learned there to support the legacy cultivators and cannabis businesses on whose shoulders this industry stands.💪

Started my professional cannabis journey in 2015 as CEO and co-founder of Evoxe Labs, the first vaporizer company to combine aromatherapy and cannabis for unique flavor profiles and effects (successfully exited in March 2019).

Co-founded Emerald Exchange as a platform for small batch craft cultivators from the Emerald Triangle to create direct connections with conscious cannabis consumers in Southern California. We wound up earning multiple awards, including Best Regular Cannabis Event from the SF Chronicle and Best High Event from Leafly, for our unique and high end experiences that made space for the heart and culture of NorCal 🏆💚

It’s been an incredible journey to be the Producer of the feature documentary Lady Buds directed by @cjrusso. The film is about 6 courageous women and their transition from the traditional cannabis market into the regulated industry under California’s Prop 64 🎥 ladybudsmovie.com

Now as the Executive Director of MCA my efforts are focused on creating stable pathways for our existing local operators and legacy community to stabilize and thrive in the licensed market. 🤝 MendoCannabis.com
