Bio

With more than 25 years of experience in the cooperative sector, and having Masters and MPhil( International Relations)from JNU, I am working as Dy Director in National Cooperative Union of India, an apex organization of the cooperative movement based in Delhi. See the website www.ncui.coop. I am also on Editorial Board of International Journal of Cooperative Management and Accounting , published by Sobey Business School, Canada.
Being a member of ICA-AP Research Committee, I have a long experience of presenting papers in national and international conferences in India and abroad. My areas of specialization in presenting papers have been-communications, media, tourism, youth affairs. With more than 100 publications to my credit in national and international journals, I also wrote a book on 'Public Relations and Media in Cooperatives-An Indian perspective, which was released during International Coop Day celebrations in 2018 by Mauritius High Commissioner

I have also interest in areas like motivation, self-improvement, and subjects related to soft-skills. My 2nd book 'Introspect, Explore and Enrich yourself is out , and is available on Google Play Books and Amazon.
In my organisation, I have made key contributions in popularizing coop model in schools, colleges and universities.I look forward to ideas and collaborations in this field. Recently, we have started NCUI Haat, in NCUI premises, where all year round exhibition of products of smaller coops/SHGs is being held. Proposals of collaborations are invited. We are also taking initiatives to strengthen social media of cooperative organizations, who are lagging behind in this field.Proposals are invited in this field.
On Club House, I wish to speak, moderate and participate in discussions of all types, My areas of interest are-agriculture, rural development, cooperatives, soft skulls, emotional intelligence,self-improvement.
