Graduated from Central Michigan University with a journalism degree, but my real major was our college newspaper, CM LIFE.
Worked as a reporter and editor at daily, weekly and monthly publications before leaving the newsroom and getting my MBA at University of Michigan.
Moved to NYC in 2006; after three years in Manhattan, we found our home in Brooklyn.
