My Mission:
To support communities, organizations and individuals with the tools and resources necessary to achieve better health outcomes.

Entrepreneur
I am the founder and CEO of Village Empowerment Solutions (VES), a consulting business designed to help communities and organizations address what impacts health beyond the walls of hospitals and clinics. The betterment of the health status of communities is contingent upon addressing the social determinants of health. VES is committed to partnering with communities and organizations to develop human centered, community driven solutions to public health issues.

Lifestyle Coaching:
I support Bariatric patients pre and post weight loss surgery develop personal health plans for long-term success. I had the gastric sleeve in 2017 and lost 90 pounds and have kept it off. I am especially interested in helping women over 50 reclaim their health. My life is a testament that you really can be fit and fabulous after 50!

Support:
I founded a private FB group called Bariatrically Blessed that provides support and education for people who are thinking about weight loss surgery or have had it. The group is also open to people seeking tips and support for a healthy lifestyle.

I run a weekly virtual Bariatric Support Group called, “Let’s Talk” for post WLS patients. The group is hosted on Zoom. DM me on IG for link.
