Bio

My short story is I was in foster care at age 3, homeless at age 11 (for 6 months) placed in a group home by age 12, a second group home by age 13, and two different foster homes from 13 to 14 years old.
Throughout each of these dispensations in the inner-city of Cleveland Ohio, I was physically, verbally and sexually abused by my parents and the older young adults I lived with. Severely malnutritioned and being exposed to things no kid should see, I knew I HAD to get out!
Thankfully I got out, joined the United States Marine Corps, married my best friend, had SEVEN kids and now I've shared this story with over 300,000 students, educators and parents throughout the country!
My message is about the real architecture of struggle. I challenge my audiences to tap into the same tenacity that the sea turtle has when all the odds are stacked against survival.
I created and teach two dynamic life improvement series. The first is called "G.E.A.R." The second is called "G.R.I.N.D. Mode." Both trainings are available virtually or in person.
Covid-19 has impacted millions across the globe, and people need to hear...and believe that no matter what, they CAN make it.
