Bio

Chief Exec at the Business Travel Association, industry veteran which means I have been around a while, but still passionate and opinionated about travel. Aviation geek, good nutrition believer and Reading FC fan, which I think sums me up nicely.

The proper bio:

I am honored to have been named in the Business Travel News Top 25 most influential people in business travel, to be included in the BTN Hotlist for 2021 and to receive the The Business Travel Peoples Award 2020 for the work done by my team and I during the Covid-19 pandemic.

My career has spanned a few decades and I am fortunate to have worked and to continue to work, for some wonderful organisations within the travel industry. I am privileged to have worked for Thomas Cook, American Express, British Airways, Qantas, Gulf Air, Etihad, Amber Road and The BTA.

I have grown from being a junior learning to sell package holidays to running multi location operations within a country for international airlines, to lead a private equity backed business through two transactions and now I represent an industry by leading the BTA.

My strengths throughout my career include leadership, empathy, strategy, business development, relationships and a passion for the industry I love.

I have vast experience in building relationships with senior industry leaders, investors, ambassadors, senior government officials, International sports stars, VIP’s and most importantly, colleagues at all levels.
