Functional neurological disorder (FND) is a medical condition in which there is a problem with the functioning of the nervous system and how the brain and body sends and/or receives signals.
My typical symptoms include:
Hypersensitivity to sound, light, touch and smell.
Difficulty speaking, swallowing, concentrating and understanding.
Impaired movements, mobility, balance and motor skills.
Vocal and physical tics.
Chronic fatigue.
