COURTNEY JOHNSON ROSE – CCIM, GRI, M. CD

Courtney Johnson Rose is the Principal Broker of George E. Johnson Properties LLC, an affiliate of company of George E. Johnson Development Inc. Courtney obtained her Bachelor’s degree in
Business and Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and earned her Master’s in Community Development from Prairie View A&M University. Courtney is also a graduate of the
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program, the Graduate Realtor Institute and she has obtained the distinguished Certified Commercial and Investment Member (CCIM) designation,
making her one of the few real estate professionals in the country to have this designation in commercial real estate.
An active member in the community, Courtney currently serves as Chair of the Board for the Texas Assoc. of African American Chambers and the Immediate Past Chair of the Board for the Greater Houston Black Chamber. Courtney is also 2nd President of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, the oldest minority trade association in the country. She is an appointed commissioner for her
city’s Planning and Zoning Board and is a member of the Board for the Houston Land Bank Board, focused on developing workforce housing for Houston. In 2019, Courtney was appointed by the Governor of Texas to the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation, focused on
housing development through the use of tax credits and other economic tools.
