A glimpse into my world: I am the Owner & Licensed Professional Counselor (Psychotherapist/Mental Health Therapist) of The Balancing Bar, LLC.

At The Balancing Bar, I help (through the therapeutic process) adolescents, adults, & families develop healthy coping strategies, increase self awareness, promote individual growth & find balance🧘🏽‍♀️in a changing world through online therapy.

The Balancing Bar, LLC was created out of lessons of my own as I struggled with Perfectionism. Everything had to be perfect! And that’s unrealistic!! I eventually learned that the idea of perfectionism is self-abuse. I began to change the word Perfect to Satisfied. I’m not saying to substitute satisfaction for everything. We can’t just go through life with minimal expectations of ourselves and half doing everything just to say it’s complete, however we do need to draw the line somewhere. And, that’s why I’m here!!
