Bio

Hi, I’m Melody!

I am a cinematographer and director and the founder of Cinema Quilt.

Cinema Quilt helps businesses, nonprofits, arts, and educational organizations amplify their story through beautifully crafted videos/films and commercials.

I like ice skating, finding hidden local spots for walking, cameras, cooking (so long as it’s not for small humans who will not eat it), dark chocolate, quirky comedies, documentaries, tv shows, books, education, and theater.

I’m a self-directed learner and am now guiding my own young children in this same style of education. I also have experience working as a teaching artist in schools throughout the Philadelphia region for several theater companies.

Thanks to the pandemic, I learned how to fly drones this year and became an FAA certified pilot. I have become quite fond of capturing video from the sky and including it in my work as it fits the story.
