Cindy Koistinen is a former starving artist who lives life disguised as a middle-ish class white mom and wife. Those that know her well, know that beneath that exterior is a passionate feminist with an insatiable curiosity and a voracious appetite to understand herself and the world around her. She loves to analyze the shit out of things and her busy mind usually expresses itself through her writing and her love of conversation. (That is to say, she loves to talk.) she has been in an interracial relationship for 30 years, has a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies at a masters degree in Opera, and is currently in the middle of her midlife reinvention.

Although she fancies herself a revolutionary, the truth is she would love to have a piece of land far away from civilization where she can grow food forest and spend her days walking in the woods with her pack of dogs, foraging for medicinal herbs and making teas and potion.

In conjunction with her analytical brain she enjoys cursing like a sailor and mixing her metaphors beyond recognition.
