My three core values are quality, service, and integrity with a dash of humility (there’s always more to learn, and I consider myself a lifelong learner). I only believe in long term relationships grounded in mutuality, where everybody feels like they got the better end of the deal.

You can learn a lot about me from my favorite quote from Steve Jobs, which even gives a nod to construction: “I want it to be as beautiful as possible, even if it’s inside the box. A great carpenter isn’t going to use lousy wood for the back of a cabinet, even though nobody’s going to see it.”

At the end of the day, it’s simple - I LOVE to help people and make their lives better. My clients describe me as a strong relationship-builder, kind, caring, trustworthy and dependable. I bring these qualities to every interaction and client project that I touch. Integrity and ethics are incredibly important to me, and guide me in everything that I do.

I didn’t intend to be an entrepreneur, but I do come from an entrepreneurial background; my grandfather Arch Clark West invented a snack called Doritos. My family came from humble beginnings, which made me realize that it’s important to provide access to opportunity for all. That is why I’m part of The Guardsmen, a San Francisco-based non-profit that sends inner-city youth to private schools and summer camps.

In my free time, I love to travel (especially to Paris and Burgundy) with my wife, prepare local/organic ingredients for friends and family (I am a trained chef from the Culinary Institute of America), and love cycling and rock climbing.
