I am a 32-year-old woman of faith and multi-passionate entrepreneur from Oxnard, California. I come from a multi-cultural background and identify with being half Black and half Mexican, (Blaxican). My greatest struggles led me directly into finding my purpose and passion for empowering women from all walks of life.
I am the Founder of The Women’s Empowerment Network, a 501 C3 Nonprofit Organization that primarily focuses on providing free resources for women battling cancer and domestic violence.
I use my life experiences which include: abandonment, childhood trauma, suicide, sexual abuse, domestic violence, alcoholism, and a recent cancer diagnoses to encourage women who need the support and resources.
Through public speaking, conferences, workshops, and events I have brought together thousands of women to find community, support groups, professional help, and spirituality.
My career began in 2018 with my first women’s conference, The Women’s Empowerment Expo in Ventura, CA, and The Women’s Empowerment Expo in Los Angeles, CA. My first two events created a marketplace for 200+ female entrepreneurs and an atmosphere for 1,500 women to find community, resources, like-minded women and to become empowered.
In my first two years of producing events, I received multiple awards from CA Mayor, Eric Garcetti for Economic Global Empowerment and The Community Service Award for serving the Latino Community in Los Angeles, CA.
I have created several partnerships and received sponsorships from: Los Angeles Times, Q95.9, Live 105.5, Lorna Jane and Tory Burch. I was featured in LA Style Magazine and listed as one of “ Top 100 Women in Power” in Los Angeles, CA. I was also featured on Millennial Mindset, Poder Podcast, Silly Panda Media, Llave Podcast, Alegria and Voyage LA Magazine.
Today, I am working hard to still be a light for women during this global pandemic. I am focused on my online community, organizing women’s retreats, running my non-profit organization—The Women’s Empowerment Network, in the process of writing a memoir through Alegria Publishing and having my life story put on film with video producer Alex Costello who currently works with CBS.
