BUILD and EMPOWER (non-profit): Build better Urban Communities In Low Income Developments through Education Mentorship Provide Opportunities Winner’s Mentality Evolve Resources
This non-profit addresses community issues that plague the black community like single parent homes, fatherless children, domestic violence, mental illness, suicide, gentrification etc to reduce gun and gang violence. I want this movement to not only impact local/state government but across the nation. I truly feel if we address the issues in the community we will see a decrease in gang and gun violence. I want to address these issues through legislation, bills, mentorship programs for youth and young adults, family counseling services etc.
