I am a native of Charleston, SC. I am the Founder and CEO of M.A.D. USA, Inc. a 501(c) 3 organization that is committed to shining a new light on what the real issue has been in regard to domestic violence. By providing proactive education, emergency services, etc. I am also a captain with the North Charleston Fire Department, where I have worked for nine years.

My passion for combating domestic violence came as a result of losing my mother and four siblings to domestic violence in 2016. I am deeply committed to helping others recognize the indicators of domestic violence and learn about resources to get assistance. Because domestic violence is a personal focus, my professional enthusiasm is ignited by mentoring young men and women in the community. His desire is to have his impact and influence with M.A.D. USA, Inc. help future generations to see domestic violence through a different lens.

I was appointed to participate on the South Carolina Governor’s Domestic Violence Task Force, along with several other organizations throughout the State of South Carolina. In 2015, Domestic Violence reform was pushed through the Senate Bill 3. The Domestic Violence Reform Bill was signed into law by Governor Nikki Haley on March 15, 2016, which resulted in stiffer penalties for those convicted of domestic violence and making it mandatory that schools teach Domestic Violence Awareness.
