Chris Guidry is eminent for his unique expertise in melding old school beauty with up to the minute trends. Chris has been a part of the Paris Parker team for over 19 years, while leading and designing a multi award winning in-salon haircut training program for the Paris Parker division of 9 salons. Chris fuels his passion through education, which includes his own continuing education classes at Aveda Academy, Arrojo Studio, Vidal Sassoon and Toni and Guy. He has also worked at the world-renowned Cutler Salon in New York City and has styled hair for some of the most glamorous and trendsetting stars: Andie Macdowell, Nicole Kidmann, Madonna, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Lopez, Brittney Spears, Milla Jovovich, Camilla Alves, Rob Ryan, Anna Wintor and JoAnna Garcia Swisher. Chris finds inspiration from his experiences working at Fashion Runway shows in NYC, Milan and Paris, including: Ports 1961, Strenesse, Victor and Rolf, Max Mara, Jeremy Scott, Alexander Wang, Chloe, Lanvin, and Christian Dior. Guidry has been honored to have been mentored by unparalleled talent in the beauty industry: Tim Hartley, Antionette Beenders, Pasquale Ferrante, Leon Gorman, Giovanni Giuntoli, Rodney Cutler and Luigi Murenu. Chris's work has been highlighted by trade publications and he has had the privilege of styling hair for photo shoots for Harpers Bizarre, W, American Vogue, Russian Vogue and Allure magazine. Guidry has also styled hair for world wide advertisements for Salvatore Ferragamo, Chloe, and The Gap. Chris has had the pleasure of working with photographers: Irving Penn, David Simms, Craig McDean, Micheal Thompson, Mario Sorrenti, Juergen Teller, Regan Cameron, Steven Klein, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and acclaimed make up artists: Gucci Westman, Peter Phillips, Dick Page, Lucia Pieroni, Pat McGrath, and Ozzy Salvatore.
