Bio

Founder of Our Life Foods. My story starts in the heart of Cajun country in my hometown of Eunice, Louisiana. I grew up surrounded by great food, family, friends, and within a culture like no other.

Growing up, I always had an entrepreneurial spirit that I later learned to harness into a promising corporate career. My early endeavors into corporate life started as a merchandiser and over the course of 10+ years, I worked my way up to managing an ever increasing array of customers and annual sales responsibility within the CPG industry. As adults, my wife and I ended up in Oregon, but never lost the craving for true authentic Cajun food. After sharing our recipes with friends, we were encouraged to bring Cajun products to a broader audience. That’s when A Cajun Life was born.

In 2012, we officially launched A Cajun Life as a part-time food cart in Damascus, Oregon. Over the course of the next 4 years, we slowly grew into a full-time operation with 4 locations and a burgeoning line of packaged goods. Towards the end of 2016, I made the decision to sell restaurant operations to focus solely on our line of Certified Cajun Seasonings and Cajun Lifestyle products. It was then that Our Life Foods was created as the parent company of A Cajun Life. Today, our seasonings are blended and packaged within minutes of my hometown giving it the authentic flavors needed to create masterful dishes every time and are available in a growing number of retailers nationwide.

In 2019, we successfully acquired Swamp Pop sodas to compliment our line up of authentic Cajun products. All natural, caffeine free, 100% pure Louisiana cane sugar, no preservatives, it’s everything you want in a flavorful soda and nothing you don’t. Carried nationally and rapidly growing, Swamp Pop is the perfect beverage to pair with any occasion.
