Chris Anderson is a songwriter/musician, producer.
Born and raised in Chicago, Chris’s first break as an entertainer came as a drummer with Hypnotic Brass Ensemble leading to touring, recording, and opportunities to work with A-list artists like Mos Def, Gorillaz, Erykah Badu, R. Kelly, Robert Glasper, Phil Cohran, Nomadic Massive, Tony Allen, Wu Tang Clan, De La Soul, Prince, Femi Kuti, B52's and more. Chris performed in countless countries and toured internationally for more than 10 years before settling in the Seattle area. As Videographer and Photographer, Chris has filmed and directed several short films as well as music videos. Chris’s passion for working with youth has led him to form Artists in Activism, a new non-profit organization dedicated to supporting under-represented youth in their education and pursuit of the arts.
