↯ Advise project developers on utility-scale wind and solar energy projects as well as infrastructure and commercial/residential mixed-use developments.

↯ Developed California energy policy as advisor to California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and as legal counsel for energy providers. 

↯ Persuaded policymakers to include offshore wind in California's plan for renewables procurement. 

↯ Advised project developers on interconnection agreements and transmission issues subject to California Independent System Operator (CAISO) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

↯ Participated in California Energy Commission (CEC) transmission planning process (TPP) and CPUC net energy metering (NEM), resource adequacy (RA), time-of-use (TOU) rates, integrated resources planning (IRP), long-term procurement plan (LTPP), renewables portfolio standard (RPS), and green tariff and shared renewables (GTSR) rulemakings.  

↯ Drafted general rate case (GRC) decisions authorizing Southern California Edison (SCE) and San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) electric rates, including review of power purchase agreements (PPAs), operation and maintenance (O&M) agreements, renewable energy credit (REC) agreements, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts.

↯ Counseled developers on infrastructure for EVs and infrastructure planning for multi-phase, mixed-use projects, including assessment of VMT and mass transit.

↯ Advised major oil refiner on development of midstream facilities at marine terminal in California.
