As I watched my third grade students throw books and erasers at my abuser, as he beat me in front of them, and being reminded how I lost my son at five months knowing I was unable to save him, I had to save my students and fight back. I knew I had to continue the fight for Domestic Violence. I thank God he kept me to continue to have a voice for Survivors 💜
