I am a wife to an amazingly supportive man and a mother of 7! π I have earned my Masters of Science degree-Psychology at Arizona State University. π©πΌβπ My research was in cognitive neuroscience and the effects of Mindfulness on emotion regulation, focus, attention, and reappraisal π
My passion has always been to help others stemming back to the beginning of my education in Molecular Biology 𧬠where I had a desire to study neurological diseases and finding a cure. Little did I know I had a neurological disease, multiple sclerosis. I was diagnosed in 2018 after my struggle with symptoms for 10 years
I knew mindfulness helped me in ways even the best neurologists could not make explanations for π¨ββοΈ . This is why I truly have a passion in helping others find their healing in positive psychology, π§ββοΈ especially through mindfulness and meditation β€οΈ I see that it truly heals in the data I run but I also have felt itβs effects in my everyday life.
