Cheah Kok Hoong has 30 years’ experience spanning industry and business development, merger and acquisition, regional expansion, and process engineering across various verticals such as information technology, venture capital, conglomerate and the services sectors. He has led various strategic initiatives such as positioning IT and Finance to transform businesses, investing into regional tech companies and leading it through its hypergrowth stage.

In his next quest, Cheah aspire to disrupt the industry through the formation of SteerQuest (SQ) and Digital Vision Group (DVG). SQ invest in, merge and acquire ASEAN IT companies to establish a regionally recognized and trusted digital transformation partner via DVG. DVG aims for hypergrowth by unlocking synergistic values from dynamic collaboration between Digital Vision Associate Companies (DVAC). DVAC has since included Cognitive Digital - driving experiential, pragmatic, and successful digital business transformation, and CADVision Systems - accelerating IR4.0 adoption and product innovation across manufacturing industry.

Instrumental in driving the growth of the Malaysian ICT industry, Cheah is the Chairman of Outsourcing Malaysia, past Chairman of PIKOM and various position in industry associations. He also serves on both Sunway University and SoftwareONE Industrial Advisory Board. In addition, he is an Adjunct Practice Professor in the Sunway University Business School, as well as the Advisor & Programme Director of an Aerospace Engineering Edutech company, Angkasa-X Holding.

His past achievements include induction into PLC Hall of Fame for leadership and stewardship in promoting the PLC Leadership programme and conferment of PIKOM’s CIO Excellence Award for his outstanding leadership in ICT adoption.
