Bio

From 1997 to 2001, I served Harpo Productions in the Research Department. After leaving Harpo Productions in 2001, I was introduced to the mortgage business where I discovered the immense satisfaction of helping clients with life-changing events from purchasing a new home, to saving hundreds of dollars per month, to finding the money to send their children to college. My time at Aim Mortgage in Skokie, Illinois was cut short in 2003 when I was recruited to rejoin Harpo Productions where I would serve, ultimately as the Vice President of Research, until 2015 when Oprah closed the doors to the studios in Chicago’s West Loop.

My family and I uprooted to Portland, Oregon where I started a consulting business helping construction companies, developers and property management companies with marketing, business development, recruiting and project planning. Every time I met someone in the mortgage business, I found myself reminiscing about how much I loved that chapter of my life. I realized I needed to return to the career I enjoyed and am now thrilled to be part of the Finance of America Mortgage family.

I have an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and English from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am an Evans Scholar Alum and currently serve on the Selection Committee for the Evans Scholars Association in Oregon.
