✏️Charlena is the founder and principal at Coalesce Development Group, LLC. She has worked in real estate for nine years specializing in affordable housing developments that utilize low-income housing tax credits. In her development role, she’s been responsible for managing the project’s objectives by overseeing the development process from concept through stabilization.

🔍Prior to starting Coalesce, Charlena worked for affordable housing developers as a project manager and as an affordable housing consultant with an accounting firm. Charlena has expertise in project management and deal structuring with multiple layers of financing. This includes but is not limited to 4% and 9% Federal and State LIHTCs, HTCs, HUD RAD, HOME, CDBG, AHP, and Section 8. In addition, Charlena has experience in working with PHAs nationally through the RAD conversion process. She is originally from Illinois and earned her B.S in accounting from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin where she earned her C.P.A
