I have 2 kids, Jude and Prudence, both named after Beatles songs.
We have hard (age appropriate) conversations, because they ask tough questions. They amaze me everyday. I do my very best to make sure they are socially aware, allies for justice, and overall decent human beings. 💪🏻👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

I have Manic Depressive Bipolar Disorder. While it is a part of me, it does not define me.
I’m learning coping skills, triggers and strategies that work for me to live my best life, but am still learning and healing.
I love to encourage others battling mental illness, and fight alongside them when things get hard. 💚

I taught Elementary for 6 years and loved my journey. I taught 5th grade Reading Writing and Social Studies, and then was a self-contained 3rd grade teacher. 👩🏻‍🏫📝📚
