Have had 6 different careers, not all reflected above. Longest career was a nearly two-decade stint at the GSB, where I taught the legendary Interpersonal Dynamics course and became known as the “Queen of Touchy Feely.” Also ran the Arbuckle Leadership Fellows program, taught a number of other leadership related classes and won several teaching awards. In 2018 I co-founded Leaders In Tech, a nonprofit with a mission to help develop healthier and more inclusive cultures and which brings all I taught at Stanford to pre-IPO CEOs and their organizations.

Nothing is more gratifying or fulfilling than hearing from students recent as well as from two decades ago, who tell me they don’t only owe their great professional success to what they learned from me but that they are pretty sure these lessons saved their marriage and helped them reconcile their relationship with estranged friends. I believe I was put on the planet to help people learn how to more skillfully and deeply connect with one another.
