It is time to make the world a better place.

My name is Carlos Calderon. I was born in Mexico city where I lived until moving to the US 25 years ago to become an on air broadcaster for US Hispanics on TV and radio. Currently, I co-host Despierta America, Univision’s morning daily four hour show that airs from coast to coast celebrating our language and heritage. We received an EMMY for Best Morning Show and before that I received the EMMY for Outstanding Talent 2014-2015 while working for El Gordo y la Flaca also in Univision.

I am a also a graduate Architect and in 2017, I started my own company providing a safe way for Mexican immigrants to build homes in Mexico paying from the U.S. supporting their communities and building a patrimony. You can find out more at www.ConstruMexUSA.com

I have studies in post production and editing at NYU, in creativity strategies and techniques at Harvard University, in creative writing from Stanford and journalism from UC Berkeley.
