Carl Fanini was born in New York where he spent his childhood, he immediately became influenced by black and soul music, he then moved to Italy when he was twelve. In 1991 he joined Media Records and soon achieved success thanks to the single "Ride Like The Wind" which launched East Side Beat on the international market, selling over a million copies and reaching the first position of the charts in France and United Kingdom where it won a silver record for sales of over 200,000 copies! The following year he became involved in another successful project, ClubHouse: from 1992 to 1996 Carl became the leader of successful singles... to be continued
