In 2015, I left my job in Project Management to heal from trauma and pursue my lifelong dream of being a working artist. Shortly after my departure, I started my handcrafted greeting card company Carla Sue. In the past four years I’ve managed to get my products in over 100 stores nationwide. My work has been featured by Houstonia Magazine and Huffington Post among others. I’ve been honored with Pop Shop America’s Maker Award in the Best Prints and Paper Goods category and was named one of the Top 10 Entrepreneurs Who Turned Their Hobbies into a Successful Career by Entrepreneur Magazine in 2019.
