Born in Essex, UK in the 80s to immigrant parents from Hong Kong

10 years in London, Shanghai, São Paulo & Johannesburg on socio-economic projects, with non-profits & developing independent productions (and I won’t lie some commercial).

For 2021... MA in Global Political Economy: applying theory to creatively model social, economic & political systems.
Researching into commoning (of intangible property, comparing 'social imaginaries' to other forms of IP) & platform cooperativism.
Other themes dig into:
- enclosures >> IP around seed/plant genes & in relation to food regimes
- green transition/capitalism & its infrastructures
- critical geography & IR
- (politics of) history-writing
- geopolitics*materials (ie, rare earth minerals & ecologically unequal exchange - historic & current - in supply chains)
