Founder of Visions2030, Carey is a curator, critic, playwright, producer of social-justice theater, activist, and philanthropist. Formerly known as 2020Visions, Visions2030 is committed to harnessing the artistic imagination to create new paradigms of society.
Carey served as Co-Commissioner of the 2013 U.S. Pavilion of the Venice Biennale (Sarah Sze) and was co-President of the U.S. Division of the International Association of Art Critics. She was awarded a Visionary Pathmaker Award from the Bronx Museum of the Arts.
