Hello Everyone! I’m Cameron! I’m the founder of Haus of Heir (@hausofheir) in Davenport Iowa. I began my journey in the beauty industry at a very young age with my first salon ‘Lucky Monkey’ which consisted of me providing beauty services to my cousins and using my babysitting money to do so ;)

I became a makeup artist in 2005 where my love of this industry was solidified. To make an individual feel confident and beautiful was intoxicating… I think I’m ready NOW (that’s a Britney reference… Google lyrics to Toxic).

My love of beauty expanded into other facets including photography, videography, graphic design, styling, philanthropic events, and creatively directing. This has given me the title as a ‘Beauty Curator’.

I began my salon career at the age of 16 and quickly landed the roles as manager, director, and consultant throughout the midwest. In 2013 HOH was est. & the rest is still unwritten (in the sounds of Natasha Bedingfield… call me nostalgic #theHills)

I yearned to be behind the chair & with the support and encouragement from my partners & team, I enrolled in cosmetology school in 2016.

I was the 2016 recipient of the ‘Beauty Changes Lives’ Scholarship award and use this platform to create change in our industry. I have been so fortunate to be featured in publications (Beauty Launchpad, Modern Salon, Wella Initiatives, the New York Times, & Salon Today), have had countless Instagram features (@beautylaunchpad @modernsalon @behindthechair_com @wellahairusa @wellaeducation @americansalon @thehairnerds and many more), won a variety of brand focused contests, and competed as a finalist in the Student Category at the 2017 Wella North American Trend Vision Awards (BEA Awards). BLONDING is my DNA! Oh, & you might have seen me doing a TikTok or Reel ;)

In August of 2020 I was honored to be named one of the Top 100 Stylists by Modern Salon. A career dream come true!

When not in-HAUS you can find me making excuses for being a Aries/Taurus (I was born on the 21st), traveling the globe, making the most of every opportunity, spoiling my hub Ramiro and I’s pupp-ae BANX (follow him on insta @banxbarx), being with the ones I love, dancing/fangirling to 2000’s pop, & recycling cabernet bottles. I’m a vegan who misses cheesefries and a nature lover who loves to sit poolside.
