Chris Brunner has been at the forefront of technology and mobility for over twenty years. In each of his corporate leadership roles, Brunner has led his digital and mobile divisions toward highly successful outcomes.
Qualcomm Internet Services, CBS Interactive, and Univision Interactive Media have all leveraged his insights and innovations relating to technology, devices, networks, and content, to more effectively engage consumers.
Brunner has also founded and built several SMS messaging/mobility-based companies during this time, applying his knowledge as an invested subject matter expert and innovator toward business enterprises that have continued to pave the way across the industry.
In 2010, after rolling out the most extensive retail SMS campaign in the United States with Walmart Pharmacy, Brunner realized that payments and the movement of money within messaging platforms would soon become a necessity. Hence, in 2014, he founded AUTHVIA "Innovation Where Payments Meet Messaging" to bridge the two industries and create a forward-thinking proprietary SMS payments platform that would promote security, ease of use, and robust integrations across multiple business sectors.
Brunner was a founding member of the Mobile Marketing Association, the Mobile Monday Organization, and is an active member of Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA). He earned a Bachelor degree in Political Science from University of Arizona and served as a Cavalry Scout in the United States Army.
