From a strong unshakable passion for music, art, freedom of expression and creating business partnerships BRL Management was founded in 2015 by President/ CEO Timothy Sumter.

BIO:

Timothy Sumter more affectionally referred to as “Diz”, has always been involved in music throughout his life. Whether it was singing, rapping, DJ-ing or dancing he wanted to be involved.

In fact his love for dancing earned him a 3 year run on one of presented other opportunities to work with Record Label “Rawkus Records” as a part of their College Promotions team.

After Graduation from Delaware State University Tim embarked on a journey through the treacherous waters of corporate america working with big companies such as Michelin North America and BMW North America. Even while working in a corporate structure music had never left his side.

Towards the end of his MBA program, Tim made the decision focus on his true love which is music. He created BRL Management to not only help develop artist but to foster those all important business relationships to help further their careers.

Tim has executive produced projects, created strong relationships with music executives, tastemakers and media outlets all within a short period of time.

Most recently Tim has rebranded BRL Management to include BRL Gold, with his symbol being a “Gold Chair”. The move was made to connect to more than just music but to help individuals achieve life goals. “Some people don’t have a blueprint or someone to show them how to make their dreams come to a reality I want to provide that!” -Timothy Sumter
