FinTech | SaaS | Integrated Payments

A self-taught programmer, I have been the technical co-founder of two different ventures. In 2012, my childhood best friend and I co-founded AthleteTrax, a SaaS company that provides recreational sports facilities with cloud-based payment processing and back office management tools. In 2016, we joined forces with a third partner to launch Pineapple Payments, which provides payments technology solutions to SMBs and SaaS companies. In 2019, everything came full circle when Pineapple acquired AthleteTrax to add another vertical market to its core distribution strategy.

In a little less than a decade, we have built two payments oriented technology companies, raised just shy of $100MM USD in capital, completed eleven accretive acquisitions, and built amazing teams around a set of core values that we care about deeply - transparency and integrity. Most importantly, we strive to solve meaningful business problems with flexible technology solutions and make sure to always have fun along the way.

Outside of my businesses, I spend my time working with not-for-profit organizations that have mission statements aligned with my interests in various causes like the arts, education, and social issues concerning children. I also take great pride in working with smart and hungry founders of early stage ventures in tangential markets to my experience and hobbies like FinTech, B2B SaaS, and Travel.
